Subject Navajo School IPM Program Technical Assessment and Training
Description The Eastern Navajo Agency has agreed to adopt integrated pest management in three of their BIA schools located in north western New Mexico. A team of IPM specialist from Indiana and Arizona spent several days among the nation educating staff, teachers and custodians about the importance of IPM. SWTRC, program coordinator, Janet Hurley was invited to observe the training and see how the Indian Nation approached this method of pest control.
